When interior designer Marcus Syvertsen first opened Little Road Studio in 2018, he never believed that it would grow into one of Adelaide's top interior design and styling consultancies. Adelaide Outdoor Kitchens has been fortunate enough to have had a relationship with Little Road Studio for years, supplying all of their concrete basins and working hand in hand to create the ultimate bathrooms for their clients.

In the initial design phase of any bathroom, Marcus and his design team have a lot of input. "We consider interior design a collaborative process with the client. We can guide and lead the experience, but ultimately the client makes the final decision."
Marcus and his team believe that all interior design should be ageless. That’s why the design ethos of Little Road Studio is timeless interiors with considered design elements and quality materials that will stand the test of time. While LIttle Road Studio doesn’t necessarily follow trends, their work is very much influenced by the architecture of the home or space.

But that doesn't mean that everything is without purpose. Every design aspect needs to play a functional role and bring pleasure to your life and home.
"We spend time with the client discussing spatial planning, how they will use the space and who will enjoy it."
This allows each bathroom to be incredibly personalised. Marcus believed that everyone’s bathroom should be unique while remaining relevant throughout the years.
"We prioritise timeless materials, shapes and profiles so that in 10 years, the design is still relevant."
The Little Road team loves natural materials, an aspect that he believes can make a design special. Some of his favourites include refined, timeless materials straight from nature.
Concrete, a beautiful and versatile material that is sleek, modern and malleable, is another one of their favourites. Little Road Studio also loves locally sourced rammed earth and terrazzo tile - both of which have gained in popularity. Using local reclaimed timber, especially in a bold way, is making a real comeback.
